This lovely yet to be named cria on day 1. So good that his mum has been taken off our sales list following his birth.
His dam is Halley's Comet, a daughter of our Supreme fleece winning sire RD Rip Van Winkle and a Shamarra dam. His sire is our star RD Sven
We will retain this boy for showing purposes, however, we still have one Sven upcoming cria on our sales page, out of another daughter of our Supreme winning sires - RD Iolaus.
JAN 2026
It's been a long wait but the start of the spring show season starts on 6th September with SI Colourbration.
We are very happy with our show team and are expecting them all to do well although we know the competition will be tough. We will be taking 5 or 6, but missing our Supreme Champion intermediate female (RD Hawaii) who is battling an eye infection and may also be ruled out of Nationals.
Always exciting to see how our juniors go and I think we have a couple of crackers, but as always with our breed they will be better as they age. Looking forward to it.

Two shows for 2025 - 2 Supreme Champions!
On a rainy day out, Rustic Dawn Hawaii turned the tables on RD Thunderstorm at the Mackenzie A&P Show. We now have 2 Supreme Champions to take to the Nationals later this year with some very promising cria to join them.
Her sire is RD Funky Music, a son of Stoney Meadows Genesis out of RD Elsa, making him a half brother to RD Sven. This is his first (and only) progeny ... thus far.
Her dam is RD Alaska, a Supreme fleece winning daughter of BE Bronson & A Juneau. We are pleased we didn't entertain overseas interest in her after her victory.
APR 2025
Welcome to the latest addition to our ranks of SUPREME CHAMPION alpacas - Rustic Dawn Thunderstorm. This was his first show and he met some very credible opposition.
His sire is RD Iolaus, a dual Supreme Champion in his own right. This is his debut Supreme as a sire in just his second crop. Hopefully more to come.
His dam is RD Storm Cloud. Interesting fact is she is a dark roan. This is her 3rd cria with both her previous being broad ribbon winners.

We look forward to getting the juniors shorn and excited to see how they come back on the 2nd fleeces. For the older girls we look forward to their future babies!
NOV 2024
Not a bad day out at Ellesmere 19-Oct-24, highlighted by RD Marius getting Reserve Champion Senior Male, competing as a 43 month old in a class 24 months and over and therefore against mostly younger males. The only one to beat him was the similarly aged and 2-time National Champion, Shamarra Galactica. The comments Marius received in regards to his fineness and 'buttery' handle were very pleasing
In other results Dexter D won his class and received good comments while the 2 x junior male (RD Mr Prospector & RD Hermes) didn't quite get into the top-3 ribbons but we'll see how they progress next year and beyond as I really like both these boys.
OCT 2024
Exciting times ahead as we count down to Svens' first progeny.
We know they will be good, the question is just how good. Sven has outstanding fleece qualities, superbly backed up in the show ring, that he has maintained into his fourth fleece. His genetics and fleece qualities will be incorporated right throughout our herd.
Our first cria are due in January 2025 when all will be revealed!
